The family behind the showroom
Two Generations of Light
Jay Laxmi Light House grew out of Laxmi Light House, the family establishment at Chembur Naka that has supplied Mumbai homes, contractors and electricians for decades. The counter trade taught us what actually fails in the field, which manufacturers stand behind their drivers, and which finishes hold up in coastal air.
The atelier is the next chapter of that work. Every fixture we carry is sourced from the manufacturer’s own catalogue, never a look alike, and every specification we quote is one we can stand behind on site.
Architects, interior decorators and homeowners are given the same attention: genuine catalogue sourcing, technical advice on beam angles, colour temperature and driver compatibility, and a person who answers the phone after the invoice is raised.
